Our Doka formwork was used onsite at the Clarence Bridge North of Kaikoura recently for pier thickening.
Site conditions were precarious as the catchment area around the pier was prone to flooding.
SCC concrete was used due to steel and poured to approximately 3.7m high by the Tremmie method. Single sided formwork was used with soldiers and soldier propping.
As our photos show, the next day after the pour the river flooded. Thankfully we got most of the formwork back in the end!
