Layher has six basic components with a large number of accessory components.
Standards
Available in seven sizes from 0.5 to 4 metres. All standards contain rosettes comprising 8 attachments for braces.
Construction
48.3mm OD Tube. All have the Layher rosette connection system. Open-ended design with removable, bolt-in spigots, accepts adjustable base plates and U-heads.
Ring Connection
Precision-positioned at 500mm intervals.
Ledgers
Ledgers tie the standards horizontally. Generally non-load bearing and feature wedges to lock into the rosette connection. Used also as working platform guardrails and transoms.
U Transoms
Layher U Transoms are ledgers used in a different application.
The 0.73m, 1.09m and 1.4m ledgers are used as load bearing transoms.
Layher U Transoms have positive connecting wedges to connect to standards.
The U section shape of the ledger supports the hook ends of decks for clear, safe walkways. Decks are locked into the U Transom with a Lock Against Lift Off (LALO) device.
Bridging Ledger
Ringscaf bridging ledgers are ledgers with additonal load capacity to allow wider walkways from 1.4m to 3.07m.
Ringscaf bridging ledgers have positive connecting wedges to connect to standards.
The O section shape of the ledger supports the hook ends of decks for clear, safe walkways.
Diagonal Braces
There are two types of Ringscaf diagonal braces, both feature pivoting connecting systems for left and right-hand positive connections to standards.
Face Brace
Braces standards longitudinally on scaffold face. Used between two outside face standards to full height of scaffold.
End Brace
Braces standards transversely. Use between end pair of standards for full height of scaffold.
Adjustable Jacks
Layher adjustable jacks fit directly into standards, with wingnuts for vertical adjustments.
Features
Corrosion-resisting cast nuts, skirting to centralise standards, heavy load capacities, self-cleaning threads.
Adjustable Jacks
Jacks are used in scaffolding with thread safety stop. Ample spindle engagement for stability.
Decks
The Layher scaffold deck is high-strength galvanised steel construction with perforated surface to minimise corrosion.
Hook ends fit flush on to the U Transoms. Dimple tread gives surer footing and safety.
