Frami is crane-assisted or crane-independent framed formwork for use on walls. Top50 and Framax are crane-assisted formwork for use on walls.

Framax Xlife

For crane-assisted, gang-forming of large areas, Framax Xlife is the framed formwork system we recommend.

Xlife uses only a very few different panel formats to achieve a consistently incremented grid, no matter whether the panels are stood upright or on their sides.

All the connectors and accessories fit seamlessly into this grid, making for fast forming times and high efficiency.

Frami Xlife

Crane-independent, repositionable, steel-framed formwork for walls or foundations.

Top50 Timber Beam Formwork

Large-area formwork Top50 is a ‘construction kit’ large-area formwork system that is pre-assembled on a project-specific basis and is designed to accomplish very diverse types of task. The shape, size, tie-hole pattern and form-facing of the elements can be adapted to suit any requirement.

Top50 in detail

The Doka formwork beams H20 and the steel walings are spaced closer together or further apart depending upon what loads are expected. The form-facing is freely selectable, to meet widely differing requirements.

Formwork built by pre-assembly

The individual parts of the Top50 system can quickly be assembled into site-ready elements by means of easy-to-use connecting devices: this saves on assembly costs. Having the elements pre-assembled ensures top-quality, meaning precision element joints and a first-class joint pattern, even with challenging geometries. For high numbers of repeat uses, using large-area Top50 formwork pays off even more.

Free choice of form facing and form-tie pattern

With the Top50 system, key architectural specifications can be fulfilled.

Fair-faced concrete

Because it can be used with any form facing and adapts to any shape of structure, large-area formwork Top50 is particularly suitable for forming concrete that has to meet stringent specifications regarding its surface finish (i.e. fair-faced concrete).

Framax Formwork

Universal Panel SCC

This makes it possible to place self-compacting concrete (SCC) by pumping it into the formwork from below. It can be used for both walls and stop-ends.

Framax Stripping Corner

Shaft Formwork with Framax Stripping Corner I

The Framax Stripping Corner I was designed specifically for use with shaft formwork. It enables the formwork to be closed and opened in accordance with accident protection regulations, i.e. without using the crane, simple by operating easy-to-turn spindles with a reinforcement rod or the convenient ratchet. It is then lifted and reset in one piece, thus saving crane-time. The Framax Stripping Corner I is also suitable for use on pilasters and as an inside corner on wall formwork.

Universal Panel SCC

This makes it possible to place self-compacting concrete (SCC) by pumping it into the formwork from below. It can be used for both walls and stop-ends.

Acrow has three types of column formwork available to cover any situation.

Universal panels from the Framax and Frami Xlife framed formwork ranges are ideal for forming varied cross-sections of columns in a 5cm grid.

KS Hinged Columns allow for high speed, variable cross-section formwork with a folding mechanism and mobility with wheels.

Fair Faced Columns (KS Column)

Doka column formwork KS Xlife is a top-quality, site-ready column formwork system.

The formwork is easy to open and close, resulting in very short striking and set-up times. Another advantage is that there is no need for time-consuming assembly and dismantling work.

Just one crane cycle is all it takes to reposition the entire formwork unit, in one piece.

Climbing Formwork

Crane Assisted Climbing Formwork • Shaft Platform • Single-Sided

Crane-jumped for structures of any shape and height. Acrow climbing formwork permits controlled, regular working cycles on all structures such as high rises, bridge piers and pylons.

The system is easy to operate, copes with inclinations of up to 15 degrees and can be dimensioned to many different requirements over a wide applicational range.

Climbing Formwork, MF240

Where formwork has to be shifted upwards in successive pouring lift Acrow uses economical and world-leading Doka MF240 Climbing Formwork.

This crane-jumped formwork is suitable for structures of any shape and inclination.

Climbing Formwork MF240 permits controlled, regular working cycles on all tall structures. It is extremely easy to set up, and can be tailored to meet a wide range of different requirements.

Groundform Formwork

Acrow Groundform Sacrificial Formwork

The most fast, efficient and cost effective ground formwork system in New Zealand.

Form any shaped ground beam with our lightweight material and custom spacers. The only tool you need is a craft knife!

Corrugated Groundform sheets are manufactured from high strength, light weight polypropylene and provide an effective means for installing concrete ground beams and pile caps. Our polypropylene sheets are non-toxic and recyclable.

The quick way to form ‘in the round’ – the Framax and Frami circular forming plates will get your framed formwork around any curve.

With the circular forming plates and the panels of the formwork system, ‘circular‘ (i.e. polygonal) structures can be universally, economically and quickly formed.

Top50

The Doka large area formwork Top50 is designed to be tailored to many very diverse types of task. It gives you ideal scope for adapting the shapes and sizes of the elements to suit your structure.

The element size-grid and tie-hole pattern provide the adaptability needed to accommodate architectural demands. The large-area elements and exact connections make for a perfect joint pattern.

You can choose whichever form-face material best meets your requirements – e.g. for smooth fair-faced concrete, wood-textured surfaces, intensive re-use, etc.

A range of practical accessories makes work onsite a lot easier and does away with the need for costly insitu improvisations.

Protection Screens

Xclimb 60

Crane-independent climbing protection screens provide the ultimate in safe working environments whether at low or great heights.

They make it impossible for people, tools or equipment to fall off the edges of floor slabs.

Operations can be carried out protected from the weather and secure guiding shoes linked to the structure allow repositioning, even in high winds.

The protection screen can be used without needing any additional measures for story heights up to max. 4.5m.
